According to her, the Council of People's Deputies of the Kemerovo Region adopted on Wednesday in the final reading amendments to the regional law "On the provision of long-term targeted housing loans, social payments for the purchase of residential premises and the development of mortgage lending." The amendments were developed on behalf of governor Aman Tuleyev and primarily concern the provision of benefits to young specialists.

"Until this moment (the adoption of the amendments), only university graduates who got a job within three months after receiving a diploma could be considered young specialists for three years, which means that they could apply for a preferential housing loan after completing their postgraduate education," she said.
Agency, having specified that those young people who, after receiving a diploma, continued their studies in graduate school, residency, full-time internship, often "dropped out" of this preferential category, because they had to attend classes, which means they could not always get a job in within a specified period.
"And now, after the adoption of the amendments, graduates of graduate school, residency and internship will be able to receive a loan or social payment for the purchase of housing on the same terms as university graduates," she continued.
In total, since 2006, since the adoption of the law, more than 16 thousand Kuzbass residents have received soft loans and social benefits.
